Gentle Temptation
Licor 43’s origins can be traced back to the deeply-rooted tradition of distilling spirits in the Cartago Nova region of the Roman Empire, today known as Cartagena.
Over 40 natural ingredients are used for the process, carefully selected from the Mediterranean area, and which are then subjected to a detailed artisan process in all its essential phases: selection, crushing, soaking and fermentation.
Its success stems from its unique aroma and bouquet, as well as its endless possibilities, which make Licor 43 a great mixer with every kind of soft drink, natural juice, coffee, milk, soda or other alcoholic drinks. Licor 43 adds its own personal touch to any combination which spreads to everything it touches, including desserts –where it is an essential ingredient in some of the very best recipes.
Today, Licor 43 is a premium liqueur which is sold in over 60 countries, including northern Europe, the USA, Puerto Rico and different areas of Central America, reaching market shares of up to 80% in some places.
It is also beginning to extend to other sectors like chocolates. A licence has therefore been granted to the Mexican company Turín for the development and commercialization of Licor 43-filled chocolates.
