Miau is the leading brand of the company Bernardo Alfageme S.A. Its long standing history of 130 years in the market allows it to successfully combine tradition, experience and innovation, thus ensuring that the final product is healthy, select and carefully prepared.

Its product range covers over 100 different specialities of fish and shellfish elaborated using the experience and knowledge passed down the generations.

Its products can be divided into 2 basic categories: traditional (prepared in the traditional way) and innovative, which have positioned the brand in the forefront of food trends.

The products come in many different presentations: in brine, in virgin olive oil, in vegetable oil and pickled. Furthermore, its line of sardines comes with lemon, in tomato or with a spicy flavour. A special mention must also be made of its line of squid and cuttlefish, available in their ink, in a spicy American sauce or in scallop sauce.

Miau’s focus on exporting enabled it to enter into the most demanding of markets, something only made possible by the high quality of its products. Miau currently exports to the USA, Europe, Africa and Asia.
